About ouicu
Last updated 7 October 2026
ouicu gives the site running on your laptop a public link, so the people you build it for can open it on their own phone or computer. It is made by Mads Sauer, in Denmark.
Why it exists
Sooner or later, someone who isn't a developer needs to see what you're building: a client, a boss, a friend. A localhost link only works on your own computer, and a deploy for every change is slow. ouicu is for that moment, and the person opening the link should see the site, not a developer tool.
So one command gives your dev server a link that works on any device. A name can stay the same for each client. A password or a list of invited people keeps it to the right people. ouicu tells you when they open it, and the last version stays up when your laptop sleeps. Built sites can be uploaded, and coding agents can share what they build.
The name reads as “oui, see you”: you know when the client looked.
Who makes it
Mads Sauer builds and runs ouicu, and also made StatOSS. ouicu is provided by enkelt.design (CVR 45871290), Denmark, the company named in the terms and the privacy policy.
Where it runs
On our own server in Denmark, behind Cloudflare, with encrypted backups at Hetzner in Germany. Previews live on ouicu.app, apart from ouicu.com, so a bad preview can't affect the site you sign in to. Someone at ouicu reads every report about a preview.
Elsewhere
- The command line tool's releases on GitHub, signed and with checksums.
- @ouicu/sdk on npm, for sharing from Node.
- @ouicu/mcp on npm, the MCP server for coding agents.
